Jávea/Xábia, one of the "best" residential areas in Alicante province ?

Jávea/Xábia has both residential areas with apartments close to the centre, and urbanizations which must be considered more luxurious areas where you find large houses and fincas. The north of the Alicante province tends to maintain a higher price level in general than the south of the province. If you have a little extra budget for housing, we can recommend looking in this area.

Jàvea or Xábia as it is called in Valencian is located in the north of Alicante province. Many people think the central city beach is among the very best in Alicante province. The beach is like a bay and often has quiet and calm water, which provides activity opportunities even for those who are a little cautious. The quality restaurants are lined up right next to the fine sandy beach. It is actually a bit difficult to choose between all these good restaurants right in the center of Jàvea/Xábia. It is very easy when you come to the city to be fascinated by the central part of the city and its fine restaurants and bars along the sea. But the city also has some incredibly nice urbanizations outside the city center such as El Tosalet, Costa Nova, Balcon al Mar and La Cala. In these areas, there are often many luxury homes with large properties or with fantastic views from the cliffs. Some of the areas were for many years considered the most prestigious areas in northern Spain. And when you drive a bit in the areas, you understand why. You don't have to go down to the center of Jàvea/Xábia to find good restaurants, bars, shops and other service functions. There are many places, but it is not far from the center either. Some of these urbanizations are located on mountaintops with incredible views of the Mediterranean.

Playa de Granadella

You certainly don't have to go down to the center to find nice beaches. There are several wonderful small beaches and coves along the sea. The most famous is Playa de Granadella, which has been voted Alicante province's best beach. Here there is an incredible atmosphere and wonderfully clean and clear, still water. Of course, it is possible for sports activities as well. Be aware that the ground is rocky so remember swimming shoes. If you have the budget for a more luxurious area, then take a look in this area. In any case, it can be nice to take a drive in this area.
