Arena Alicante - San Juan and Alicante's large sports centre/training centre

Club Deportiva Arena Alicante is located in the city of San Juan near Alicante. This is far more than a classic training and sports centre. It is a large developed geographical area for a number of sporting activities.

Inside you will find a giant gym with loads of equipment. There are almost 10 different large halls and training rooms for spinning, pilates, yoga and all forms of group exercise. 2 swimming pools and a separate spa. Outside you have a number of tennis courts, paddling courts, football pitches etc.. In addition to the sports activities themselves, you will find a doctor's office, physiotherapist and other medical help for illness and sports injuries. The place has its own shops for sports equipment and clothes, and of course the place has a cafe and bar. What is particularly nice to see is that older people who are quite untrained gather here with more professional athletes. This is a gathering place for everyone who wants to keep in shape or be active athletes at different levels and in different sports. The training center/gym in the colorful Club Deportivo Arena Alicante is so large and has so many machines for different levels that it covers the need for everything you want without having to queue. Music from the speakers has probably also been through to cover musical tastes for all ages. No one should feel left out here. The sports area has its own underground car park, which is ideal for those who want to spend long days on sports activities. There are also small stands when important matches and tournaments in various sports are to be played. Only approx. 200 meters away is the entrance to Alicante Golf. A very central and exciting 18-hole golf course where you often have holes close to homes. All this can be found in San Juan, which is a kind of suburb north of Alicante city. It is not always easy to know when you are in San Juan and when you are in Alicante city for those who do not live here for large parts of the year.
